About Me

I've known since my early teens that writing would play a part in my life.  I remember sitting in my bedroom for hours, scribbling on a notepad, never really knowing exactly what I'd write that day, but always coming up with something new. I wrote songs, mostly really heartbreaking love songs which is ironic since I was 13 and had never been in love before. I also went through a period in which I wrote a lot of poetry, with the highlight of actually being published in a book after qualifying in a youth poetry contest. Throughout my last year of high school, I had hoped to continue my education in English Literature  but then outside influences convinced me that going into a more tangible field like business would be the smarter move for me. This was unfortunately the time when my writing started to dwindle. 

Now, many years later, the need to get back into writing has become very prominent and very clear to me. Where exactly it will take me I have yet to find out, but for now I've created this blog as an outlet for my need to put words on screen while hopefully providing some entertainment and food for thought for my readers.
